I've done a factory reset.

Installed skydemon from the play store....works OK.

Install today's beta.....chart drawing issue is still there,.

Thanks for trying that, and for letting us know. Unfortunately there's not much for me to go on, though; I've never even heard of this happening to anyone else.

Good news.  Just upgraded my device to 4.4.2 and all working now.

I have the same or a similar problem after upgrading to SkyDemon v3.4.0.21322 on Android.
The chart and terrain disappears when in Flying mode or Simulation rendering it a bit useless for flying.

My tablet is: Asus Memopad ME173X, Android 4.2.2 (no updates available).

Gutting as this was working fantastically before.

Any other Asus users had this problem ?

(Downgrading to SkyDemon v3.3.2 worked btw)

I am experiencing the very same issue on my 2012 Nexus 7. Pull out any tab and the chart reappears

I am running Android 4.2.1 which is the only version that it keeps running at a respectable speed.

I have started to have the same problem in the last few days with my Asus Memopad ME173x on Android 4.2.2.
On planning a route all is well, but when I press 'go flying' or 'simulate' the map disappears.
If I press the Notam or other button on the r/h side the map reappears. The buttons along the top won't do this.
If I then 'stop navigating' the map disappears again.
I have rebooted the tablet, removed and reloaded the maps, and reinstalled Skydemon, all to no effect. Could this be a bug in Skydemon?

Are you able to confirm that the issue does not occur in the 3.3.2 version? You can install older versions from the Android page on our website.
